1: First step is : click: Run
(Run)
XP: Start> Run



Vista: Start> All Programs> Run
2: In the box type cmd and press enter

it will open a window in black color,  write: net users (enter)

we'll see the system users

this will show users that are registered in the system :

 in the picture above we can see that I have only the administrator who appears with the admin name in the picture below we see that admin is the name of my account, to be change

and we see the name of the user to modify ,in my accout is: admin "in same window now type: net user admin * 
like this: (take a look that there is a space between the user and the*: net user admin *

Now where it says Type a password for the user: (type the new password , this will remplace the one we  forgot , you can not see but make sure to write it ,pres enter when finish . type again  (in this picture I write it both times e. to see the latest image click on post oldest) previous post .. oh

 ready!! Pasword has been changed successfully! 

to exit just type exit and enter
